The best way of finding out if something is any good is to ask someone who has used it. We’ve had some letters back from student nurses who have trained with our books and from qualified nurses who have used our books to train their students. I didn't have the Jetstream books until my second year and they were definitely the best investment I ever made! The note/lecture type format is easy to follow, you practise what you have learnt with the MCQs and the Portfolio examples are a great help. I only wish I had had them for my first year when you sit looking at the same request for goodness knows how long wondering where on earth to start, the examples save you time and a lot of worrying! As for the practical exam cards, you are sure to pass your practicals.

A definite MUST for all student veterinary nurses!

Dear Jacqueline Buck and Charles Ross,

Just a short letter to convey my appreciation of the Veterinary Nurse Training manuals produced by yourselves. During my time training as a student veterinary nurse, I found, while working from the manuals, that they covered the veterinary nursing syllabus in depth without being over technical. The topics are covered in enough detail to ensure that a wide knowledge is gained, which gave me a greater understanding of the important areas of the syllabus. I found that because of this I didn’t have to use any other veterinary nursing textbooks - everything I needed was there.

The books are set out well, with diagrams, charts and examples which I found very useful when it came to revising. The Portfolio examples book was extremely useful as a guide to how to go about the various log sheets, particularly as I was one of the first lot of students to undertake the Portfolio. With the help of your books, I managed to pass all my exams first time, and even though I am now qualified, I still refer to them all the time. Thanks again.
